A 2022 American Psychological Association survey found that 76% of respondents reported experiencing some form of stress over the past month. It is important to learn how to cope with stress and not let it overtake your life. The April Wellness Spotlight includes information on how stress affects us, signs of stress, and ways to manage stress.

Good nutrition is our mission! Take part in this month-long challenge to learn about different food groups, proper serving sizes, fun ways to eat healthy foods, and a chance to win prizes! We will give you tips and guidelines aimed to help you make healthy, lifelong food choices the easy choice.

Health & Wellbeing Screening
|
The Spring Health & Wellbeing Screening will take place on April 3 at the UND Wellness Center. Health screenings can ensure both common and serious diseases and conditions are detected and treated. Employees and spouses can only attend ONE UND Health Screening per academic year to allow for others to get the opportunity.
|
All appointments have been filled for the April 3 screening. Our next screening event will be in Fall 2024.

Healthy Departments is a way to recognize departments that make their staff members wellness a priority by having healthy meeting practices. Departments agree to offer healthy beverage & food options during meetings and incorporate physical activity such as stretching into the agenda. It's that easy!

The UShine Award is presented monthly to a UND Staff member who went above and beyond, with an annual award chosen each May! UND faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to nominate a UND Staff member who did something special to assist a colleague, supervisor, student, or family.

UND Wellness & Health Promotion offers American Heart Association courses held right on campus to provide you with the critical training that you need for any emergency at home or work. These course are open to both UND affiliates and the general public. Our classes fill up quickly, so please register early to secure a spot.
