Mustafa Abdulhusein presents Psychiatry Grand Rounds March 18

Dr. Abdulhusein will present “The Relationship between Mood and Diet” from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at the UND Southeast Campus auditorium in Fargo.* Dr. Abdulhusein is a Psychiatrist at Sanford Health, Fargo, N.D.

Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Evaluate the complex relationship between inflammation and depression.
  • Recognize and define with greater clarity the Mediterranean diet.
  • Apply the basic principles of the Mediterranean diet to formulate a better treatment plan and recommendations to help patients treat mental illness

This grand rounds presentation, sponsored by the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences and the School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, is broadcast via videoconference to many sites throughout North Dakota and Minnesota and is also streamed via personal computers.
