Jan. 31: Webinar focuses on supporting Muslim students and staff

A webinar, “Support Your Muslim Students & Staff in Turbulent Times,” is set for 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Memorial Union Lecture Bowl. It will be presented by Farzana Nayani.

During the webinar you will learn ways to best support the Muslim Community on your campus effectively, with cultural sensitivity and care. You’ll learn how to initiate action in support of Muslin colleagues and students, to create safe spaces and to address critical issues – before emotions get out of hand and turn to regrettable actions.
