Aug. 2: Forum on opioid use in the community

The UND Forensic Psychology Master of Arts Program is sponsoring a forum on fentanyl and drug use in the region on Wednesday, Aug. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Lecture Bowl at the Memorial Union.

The forum will include a panel discussion following a viewing of the 45-minute documentary, Faded, by MeiLi Smith that follows four local families impacted by prescription drugs, heroin and synthetic fentanyl.

Expert panelists include Mary Ann Sens, Professor and Chair of UND’s Department of Pathology; Steve Gilpin, Special Agent with the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigations; and Sue Thompson, Wellness Coordinator at Polk County Public Health.
