Aug. 15: Farewell reception for Meghan Salyers

Please join us in wishing Meghan Salyers farewell from 3 to 4 p.m. Aug. 15 in the Education building lobby.

She began in the Department of Teaching & Learning as a GTA in 2005 during her doctoral studies, teaching introductory Special Education courses. She graduated with her doctorate in 2008 and continued as an adjunct professor until her full employment as assistant professor in 2009. During her time in Teaching & Learning, she taught courses in the Special Education minor, Child Development, developed the only coursework approved by the state that leads to the Gifted/Talented Endorsement, directed the Early Childhood Education graduate program, and is currently the Director of Field Experience & Student Teaching.

Meghan is taking a position at the University of Mary, and will be working with student teaching, more heavily involved with accreditation, and will work in graduate programs. She will be in administration for the academic year, and teaching throughout the summer months.

Please join us as we wish her well.
