Sept. 17: UND’s Constitution Day celebration features Eighth Circuit Judge Ralph Erickson

UND’s Constitution Day celebration will feature Eighth Circuit Judge Ralph Erickson. His presentation, “Gouverneur Morris and His Preamble: Our Role as Citizens in Securing the Blessings of Liberty to Ourselves and Our Posterity,” will take place on Monday, Sept. 17, at noon in the UND Law School’s Baker Courtroom.  It will also be available online for viewing through a live stream. The annual Constitution Day celebration recognizes the ratification of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens.  The 2004 law establishing the holiday was part of a congressional bill mandating that all publicly funded educational institutions provide educational programming on the history of the American Constitution on that day.
