The doctoral examination for Mohammed Mahmoud, a candidate for the Ph.D. degree with a major in Scientific Computing, is set for noon Nov. 13 in room 100G, Harrington Hall. The dissertation title is: Developing a New Storage Format and a Warp-based SpMV Kernel for Configuration Interaction Sparse Matrices on the GPU. Hassan Reza (Electrical Engineering) and Mark Hoffmann (Chemistry) are the committee co-chairs.
