Dec. 6: Innovators Speaker Series on social entrepreneurship features Paul Sum, Kristen Sanders

What is social entrepreneurship? What is a social enterprise?  Learn about the evolving definitions and meet local innovators who are part of the defining process.

An Innovators Speaker Series event on the topic of Social Entrepreneurship takes place at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the UND Center for Innovation’s Ina Mae Rude Entrepreneur Center.

Speakers include Paul Sum, a professor of political science, and Kristen Sanders, the executive director of Third Street Clinic in Grand Forks.  They will discuss social enterprises and social entrepreneurs as well as answer questions from the audience.  Sponsored by the UND Center for Innovation and the North Dakota Small Business Development Centers, the event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
