Advancing Quantum Research at UND

Two College of Arts & Sciences faculty receive NSF grants for national security research.

Markus Allgaier, assistant professor of physics & astrophysics, and Ayush Asthana, assistant professor of chemistry, each received $800,000 in funding from the National Science Foundation through the Expanding Capacity in Quantum Information Science and Engineering (Expand QISE) program.
