Sociology Student Appreciation

Last May, we celebrated our students’ dedication and hard work for an entire week! Throughout the week, the department office hosted receptions for students to take study breaks and visit with classmates and faculty. At the end of the week, we hosted our first annual Student Appreciation Ceremony. At the ceremony, Dana Conley, Mallory Howe, and Katherine Blackmun were presented with scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. New inductees to the International Sociological Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD) were also recognized.
