Open Education Week: Grant Funding Available!

OE Week logo

Open Education (OE) Week (March 4-8) is an international event organized by the education nonprofit Open Education Global that highlights achievements and developments in the field. What is OE? Open Education is an innovative movement that seeks to reduce barriers to and within education.

For many, this involves employing open education resources (OER) in order to ease financial burdens on students and adjust course materials to better reflect learners’ interests. If you are interested in using OER in your own courses, consider applying for an OER grant, funded by the Office of the Provost. The application closes March 11. There is still time to apply!

If you would like an extension, or if you would like to learn more about open education and OER, please contact Jackson Harper (jackson.harper@und.edu), our OER Librarian.
