CNPD Spotlight: Sheila R. Netz

Sheila Netz

Since joining the University of North Dakota College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) in 2021, Sheila R. Netz has been a dedicated Clinical Instructor. Sheila works closely with first, third, and fourth-semester BSN students and as those in the RN to BSN program, guiding them through the critical stages of their education.

Sheila’s pride shines through when asked what she loves most about working at UND. “It’s the caliber of students that we acquire,” she says.

They make wearing green an honor. Their dedication, honesty, and hard work make me a better professor.

This mutual respect and admiration between Sheila and her students create a dynamic learning environment where everyone thrives.

Outside of the classroom, Sheila leads an active life. She’s steadily working through her travel bucket list, savoring new experiences and adventures. At home, she enjoys the company of her Boston Terrier, Mac, who holds the special title of “the last child still at home.”
