- Jana Zwilling and NDNRC colleagues from across the state have posted their first report summary on Simulation in Nursing Education within North Dakota.
- Rhoda Owens will be the Keynote Speaker at the Annual Meeting & Fall Conference of the North Dakota Nurses Association. Her presentation topic is: Embracing Your Professional Identity in Nursing: Why is it Important to You and the Nursing Profession?
- Jeffrey Anvari-Clark and Dr. Axton Betz-Hamilton (SDSU) will present their paper Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analyses of Money Habitudes Data at the Academy of Financial Services Annual Conference (Sept 18-20) in Columbus, OH.
- Jana Zwilling, Dr. Rhoda Owens, and colleagues from across the state were awarded funding of $50,000 from the University Research Collaboration Program, funded by the Economic Diversification Research Funds appropriated in the 2023 ND legislative session. Awarded projects foster collaboration across institutions including UND, NDSU, and a third NDUS institution. We are partnered with UND, NDSU, and LRSC for this grant. Dr. Rhoda Owens, Dr. Jana Zwilling, Dr. Nancy Turrubiates (NDSU), and Lori Wangler (LRSC) are all NDNRC members who will be spearheading the project.
- Jeffrey Anvari-Clark will present and moderate a panel of colleagues on Implications of Financial Interdependence on Financial Education on October 9th at NEFE’s Financial Education Innovation & Impact Summit.
- Rhoda Owens and Dr. Dawn Denny: Prelicensure undergraduate nursing student perceptions on professional identity in nursing. Nursing Education Perspectives.
- Jeffrey Anvari-Clark will conduct two trainings: Introduction to Financial Social Work and Bringing the Financial Domain into Behavioral Health at the Community Action Partnership of North Dakota’s 2024 Biennial Conference, October 1, 2024 at the Alerus Center, Grand Forks, ND.
- The American Nurse Journal recently included a feature article by Rhoda Owens and colleagues in its September pre-release video (around the 40-second mark).
