- Nutrition & Dietetics graduate student Claudia PromSchmidt delivered an oral presentation at the National Nutrient Databank Conference—an honor showcasing her research, UND, and N&D graduate student excellence.
- Jana Zwilling, Dr. Amber Johnson, Dr. Mary Rivard, and Jamie Hammer has an article, Simulation in RN education in a North Dakota: Potential for increasing program capacities while decreasing clinical placement challenges, published in the Journal of Professional Nursing.
- Nathaniel Johnson and N&D Alum Anna Johnson (’25) co-wrote a paper, To Taste or Not to Taste: A Narrative Review of the Effectiveness of Taste and Non-Taste Exposures on the Dietary Intake of Head Start Children, in the journal Nutrients. The paper was selected to be the featured paper as Hot Topic “Taste”

- Dawn Denny, “Preoperative Delirium Risk Score is Related to Postoperative Subsyndromal Delirium in Older Adults”
- Jennifer Schlinger (Social Work), Dr. Ashley Fansher (Criminal Justice), and Allison from Community Violence Intervention Center (CVIC) were panelists following the screening of the documentary, “I am Evidence”. The panelists discussed various issues around the topic of sexual assault, trauma, roles of social workers and victim advocates, how to raise awareness, policy and advocacy.
- Stephanie Orth, an alum of our PhD in Nursing Program along with co-authors Dr. Tracy Evanson (advisor) and Dr. Rhoda Owens (committee member) and Dr. Darlene Hanson (committee member) had an article, Exploring the phenomenon of hope for rural Midwest frontline RNs in critical access hospitals during COVID-19 accepted for publishing in the Online Journal of Rural Nursing and Health Care
