CNPD Spotlight: Shawn Rosaasen

As the Chief Business Officer (or CBO) for the University of North Dakota College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD), Shawn Rosaasen oversees the day-to-day financial operations of the college. His role also includes financial planning and ensuring compliance, making him a critical part of the CNPD.

This January, Shawn marks 10 years at UND. He appreciates the strong sense of community at UND and takes pride in the purposeful work.

Shawn is kept busy with his two children, ages 6 and 3, wife Haley and family dog (Golden Retriever). In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, golfing, and water activities. He’s also recently rediscovered his love for reading and has been diving into more books in the past couple of years.
