- Dr. Yi-Ping Hsieh will present at the 2026 Annual Conference of the Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) in Washington, DC. The presentations show work with co-authors and are titled “The Dual Pathways to Resilience: Longitudinal Impacts of Parenting, Peer Dynamics, and Social-Emotional Intelligence” and “A 10-Year Longitudinal Analysis of Adverse Childhood Experiences and Wellbeing: The Mediating Roles of EQ and SQ.”
- Dr. Nathaniel Johnson has a paper, Differential Intakes of Lean Proteins and Processed Meats Drive Differences in Mental Health Between Rural and Metro Adults 50 Years and Older, selected as a candidate for Best Paper of 2024 in Nutrients magazine. The Nutrients Best Paper Award is granted annually to three highlight publications of high quality, scientific significance, and extensive influence. The winner will be announced in June.
- Dietetics student Claudia PromSchmidt competed in the annual 3MT (3-Minute Thesis) event in January. In just under 3 minutes Claudia presented a compelling case to better understand ultra-processed foods!
