Celebrating the Korus Investiture Ceremony

Nistler College is proud to celebrate UND Alumnus Paul Korus, Dr. Jason Jensen, and Dr. Prodosh Simlai at the Korus Investiture Ceremony in Fall 2023.

In 2021, Paul & Lynn Korus established the Institute of Policy and Business Analytics Executive Director Professorship to support the Institute’s mission, which is to serve the state through data driven policy, business, and economic analysis. Dr. Jason Jensen stepped into this new position last year and will continue holding the title this academic year.

In 2010, Paul & Lynn Korus established the Faculty Excellence Endowment in Economics within the Nistler College to be awarded to a faculty who has proved excellent in teaching, service, leadership, and research. This position has been held by Dr. Prodosh Simlai for four years. Earlier this year, Paul committed to increasing his contribution to the endowment, elevating the position to a professorship. Dr. Simlai now holds the new title of Korus Economics & Finance Endowed Professorship.

Paul & Lynn’s passion for the University of North Dakota will leave a lasting impact on our campus and community for years to come, and we are forever grateful!
