David Apostal Becomes Certified NVIDIA DLI University Ambassador

Sr. Research and Education Facilitator for the UND Computational Research Center, David Apostal, was recently certified as an instructor and granted University Ambassadorship status in the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute University Ambassador Program. As a certified instructor, David is able to deliver NVIDIA-designed hands-on workshops that cover a range of topics including GPU-accelerated computing, AI, and data science. All of which will be free for university faculty and student researchers to attend.

David is excited to make these course materials available to the UND community and anticipates hosting the first of many workshops in the near future. He encourages any UND researcher interested in learning how to incorporate Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence into their research to connect with him to learn more. David is also available to engage in outreach activities on this topic with other public and private entities within our region.
