Reid Bartholomew to give Surgery Grand Rounds on management of the open abdomen May 8

Reid Bartholomew, M.D., PGY-II resident in the UND Department of Surgery, will present a talk entitled “Management of the Open Abdomen” at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, N.D., from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday, May 8. All are welcome to attend.*

The objectives of Dr. Bartholomew’s talk are:

  • Describe different ways to manage the open abdomen
  • Describe when to leave an abdomen open
  • Determine when to close an open abdomen
  • Compare different methods of managing the open abdomen
