Mary Beth McGurran to retire June 30

After 41 years of service, Mary Beth McGurran will retire from her position as administrative assistant in the UND Department of Medical Laboratory Science on June 30, 2020.

Mary Beth began her career in 1979 at the Human Nutrition Research Center where she worked for Dr. Leslie Klevay. In 1986 she moved to the UND Department of Pathology where she served as an administrative assistant for the Medical Technology (now Medical Laboratory Science) program. Mary Beth continued in her position when Medical Laboratory Science became its own department in 2015.

For over thirty years Mary Beth has been a fierce advocate for students, touching the lives of thousands of students along the way. She has been a loyal colleague and a great friend to those she has worked with, and her presence will be greatly missed.

Since we are unable to gather together to reminisce and celebrate Mary Bath’s career, please share your comments and well-wishes with her through a digital guestbook found here.

Thanks in advance!
