Second-year med students recognize faculty for Block 8 Outstanding Block Instructor Awards
In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the MD Class of 2023 have recognized four faculty for Outstanding Block Instructor Awards in Block VIII of the 2020-21 academic year.
The Class of 2023 (Year 2) Block VIII awardees are the following individuals:
- Jon Allen, M.D., Director of Simulation and Co-Director, Year 1 and 2, Clinical Science Curriculum Team, Department of Education Resources
- Richard Clarens, PharmD, Associate Professor, Department of Family & Community Medicine
- Andrew McLean, M.D., Chair, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science
- Michelle Montgomery, MSW, LCSW, Wellness Advocate, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science
