Phase 1 med students recognize faculty for Outstanding Unified Session Instructor for Unified Session 6

In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the medical class of 2024 have recognized three faculty for Outstanding Unified Session Instructor Awards in Unified Session VI of the 2021-22 academic year.

The Class of 2024 (Phase 1) Unified Session VI awardees are the following individuals (left-to-right in the attached photo taken pre-pandemic):

• Jon Allen, M.D., Director of SMHS Simulation Center
• Mark Koponen, M.D., Teaching Associate Professor, Department of Education Resources
• Walter Kemp, M.D., Clinical Faculty
