Chloe Ree to discuss the infamous medical records ‘inbox’ at Psychiatry Grand Rounds on Sept. 6

Chloe Ree, M.D., will present “Electronic Medical Record Inbox: Friend or Foe?” from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023. This broadcast will be held via Zoom/video conferencing. Dr. Ree is a fourth-year resident in the UND Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Jonathan Olivas, M.D., a psychiatrist with Sanford Health in Fargo, N.D., and clinical assistant professor for the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences, will serve as Dr. Ree’s discussant.

Grand Rounds Objectives:

Upon completion of this program, the learner will be able to:

  • Outline the pros and cons of inbox features within the EMR (electronic medical record).
  • Review how utilization of inbox features has changed in recent years.
  • Discuss strategies to manage inbox demand.

This Grand Rounds presentation, sponsored by the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, is broadcast via video conference to many sites throughout North Dakota and Minnesota and is also streamed via personal computers.
