Guthridge to present at seventh Educause Digital Teaching Symposium on fostering empathy in eLearning on Nov. 2

From 11:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, Nov., 2, Andrea Guthridge (Instructional Designer at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences), along with Jennifer Reichart, will present at the seventh Educause Digital Teaching Symposium. The pair’s talk, entitled “Fostering Empathy in eLearning: Leveraging ADDIE for a Blackboard Learn Ultra Migration” will focus on  fostering empathy and promoting inclusivity in university-level courses. As the event’s program notes, the session will “explore the transformative power of the ADDIE-E Model as a guiding framework for course redesign while transitioning to Blackboard Learn Ultra. We will delve into practical strategies for infusing empathy into instructional design, making it a cornerstone of creating a welcoming and accessible eLearning environment.”
