Melanie Nadeau named vice chair of Department of Indigenous Health

As of July 2024, Dr. Melanie Nadeau was named vice chair of the UND Department of Indigenous Health.

In this position, Dr. Nadeau provides direction and leadership for the Department of Indigenous Health under the supervision of the Chair for the Department, Dr. Dave Wilson.

The Department’s vision is to improve the health and wellness of Indigenous peoples. The team is empowered by Indigenous knowledges and cultures and envisions a world in which future generations of Indigenous peoples thrive with equitable access to health and wellness available to all.
