UND Family Medicine resident given top poster award at AAFP conference

Anna Bogdanova, M.D., a resident at the UND Family Medicine Residency in Bismarck, was recognized for producing one of the top posters at the recent American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) “Future” conference. This conference is among the largest gatherings of family medicine residents and medical students in the country.

Dr. Bogdanova’s poster focused on COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy amongst family medicine residency clinic staff.

“This is an outstanding achievement and speaks to the dedication of our residents, faculty, and staff to scholarship, teamwork, and quality care for our patients,” said David Schmitz, M.D., chair of the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences Department of Family and Community Medicine.
