Phase 1 medical students recognize three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards for Unit V

In recognition of outstanding performance in the encouragement, enrichment, and education of tomorrow’s physicians, the medical student Class of 2028 has recognized three faculty for Outstanding Unit Instructor Awards in Unit V for the 2024-25 academic year.

The Class of 2028 (Phase 1) Unit V awardees are the following individuals:

  • Kumi Combs, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences
  • Andrew McLean, M.D., M.P.H., Associate Dean for Wellness; Chair, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science
  • Ken Ruit, Ph.D., Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences
