SMHS Fee Auditorium equipped with Zoom and other tech updates
Attention classroom instructors! The SMHS Technology Resources team has added the Zoom Room appliance to the SMHS Fee Auditorium (Room E101).
You’ll recall that Technology Resources recently upgraded several classrooms and conference rooms to better accommodate hybrid teaching via Zoom.
New features include:
- A true dual window experience
- Simplified meeting set-up and content sharing
- Camera and volume control
- Easy meeting invitations from the rooms’ Zoom panel (with a meeting ID that never changes)
- USB-C pucks that work with every device for additional content sharing by others in the room
To help acclimate instructors to the new gear, Technology Resources will host training sessions on these updates on the first and third Monday of each month through 2025, starting in November.
