Atmospheric Sciences Acquires Jet Aircraft for Research

The Department of Atmospheric Sciences has acquired a Cessna Citation II jet aircraft for the purpose of conducting weather research. The aircraft will be modified and equipped to make atmospheric measurements over the next several months and is expected to be ready for field deployments beginning this fall.
