Johnathan Metz Receives AMS Macelwane Award

Johnathan Metz, 2015 B.S. graduate of UND Atmospheric Sciences, has been awarded the Father James B. Macelwane Award by the American Meteorological Society. The purpose of this award is to stimulate interest in meteorology among college students through the submission of original student papers concerned with some phase of the atmospheric sciences. This is a national competition and is accompanied by a stipend. Jonathan is beginning his graduate studies in atmospheric sciences this fall at the University of Washington. Congratulations Johnathan!
