Kavya Manyapu Receives Award for presentation at IAC

Kavya Manyapu (Aerospace Science Ph.D candidate) recently attended and presented research at the 66th International Astronautical Congress held in Jerusalem, Israel.  Her research, in collaboration with Dr. Pablo de Leon, was entitled “Feasibility of Multi-Technology Integration Strategy for Dust Mitigation of Planetary Spacesuits.”  She was awarded the “Best Interactive Presentation Award” by the International Astronautical Federation in recognition of the research quality and originality.
