Buelke and Casler present at Space Resources Roundtable

On June 8, grad student Chris Buelke, accompanied by Dr. Jim Casler, made a presentation titled Moon Rocks into Spacecraft LOX: Modernizing a Study and Comparing Reactions to the annual Space Resources Roundtable meeting on the campus of Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO.  Chris’ talk represented his two years of work as a Graduate Research Assistant in Space Studies. In it, he reassessed a classic study of lunar resources done in 1988 by applying new technology.  The updated study provides more clarity as to necessary upload mass to achieve desired liquid oxygen production rates.
