Timothy Logan, Ph.D. student in Atmospheric Sciences, received the best student poster presentation award from the Organization Committee of the Sixth Symposium on Aerosol-Cloud-Climate Interactions at the 94th American Meteorological Society annual meeting. The topic of Tim’s presentation was “Aerosol Physical and Chemical Properties and Their Relationship with CCN at the AMF-Azores Site”. Congratulations, Tim!

Space Studies distance student Marty McNutt participated in the Global Luna Exploration Conference in Washington DC, May 21-24, 2012 with poster and oral presentations on closed ecological systems modeling. This presentation was related to his ongoing research on closed ecosystems stability with Dr. Vadim Rygalov.

Aparna Venkataramanasastry, Space Studies graduate student, presented a posted entitled “Delta-V Calculations for Rendezvous with Near-Earth Asteroids” at the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute ASTRO 2012 Conference. Her co-authors were Jeremy Straub, doctoral student in Computer Science, and Ron Fevig, Space Studies faculty.
