Henke joins Center for Rural Health

Kristine Henke has joined the staff at the Center for Rural Health at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Kristine Henke is the communications coordinator for the CRH. In this position, Henke promotes the activities of the CRH through media relations, social media, feature writing, editing, policy briefs, exhibiting and special events. She is responsible for the communications and planning efforts associated with the American Indian Health Research Conference and Dakota Conference on Rural and Public Health.

Before joining the CRH, she worked for the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, where she managed marketing and resource development efforts for their East Grand Forks, Minn., campus.

Henke is originally from Center, N. D. She received a bachelor’s degree in communication from UND. She enjoys volleyball, rollerblading, reading and traveling.
