Section of Centennial Drive closed two weeks for construction

Construction activity will require the closing of a portion of Centennial Drive for about two weeks, beginning Tuesday, July 20.

Centennial Drive will be closed to through vehicle traffic from its southbound entrance on University Avenue (between the Chester Fritz Library and the School of Law) to its intersection with Campus Road (between Upson II and the Carnegie Hall pay lot). Detour signs will be placed at the corners of both Centennial Drive and Second Avenue North, directing traffic east.

The parking lot on the south side of O’Kelly Hall will remain accessible.

Orange safety fencing will extend across Centennial Drive from the south side of Gillette Hall to the west (front) side of the Education Building. Foot traffic will be open on the west side of Centennial Drive except at this point.
