Auditions set for The Vagina Monologues

The Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre announces open auditions for Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues at the Fire Hall Theatre Jan. 16 and 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

There is no experience necessary and nothing to prepare, and all women 18 years and older are invited to audition. Actors will be asked to read from selected monologues. The Vagina Monologues will take place at the Empire Arts Center Feb. 11 and 12, with proceeds benefiting CVIC and Valley Health in Grand Forks. The Vagina Monologues will be script-in-hand stage readings, no memorization necessary.

“This is a great opportunity for people who want to get their feet wet in the theatre pool,” said production director Kathy Coudle King.
