Mellem Business Symposium will focus on The Business of Energy Oct. 18

Join the College of Business and Public Administration and the EERC as they explore the booming energy industry at the Mellem Symposium Tuesday, Oct. 18.  The theme is “The Business of Energy.”

Hear from industry experts on the science behind the evolving research and how business professionals and students can gain knowledge of the business opportunities and future career paths in this field.

Panel discussions will be held during the day in Gamble Hall, Room 7 and the keynote presentation will be at 7 p.m. at the EERC with a dessert social to follow.

9:30 a.m., “The Business of Oil Production in North Dakota”
11 a.m., “The Business of Energy Production”
2 p.m., “The Business of Renewable Energy”

Keynote Presentation: EERC
7 p.m., Susan Preston, General Partner Clean Energy Angel Fund, “”Panacea or Pitfalls: The Future of Clean Energy”
