Carol Drechsel will retire Dec. 31 after 30 years of service

Carol Dreschel

Congratulations to Carol Drechsel, assistant director of University analytics & planning, on her retirement after 30 years of service to the University of North Dakota. Her last day will be Dec. 31, 2021.

A native of Fergus Falls, Minn., Carol and her husband Paul lived in many exciting places, wherever the United States Air Force took them.  With their last tour in Grand Forks in 1991, she began her UND career in the Registrar’s Office.

In retirement, Carol and her husband, Paul, look forward to spending more time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, and snapping that perfect sunset photo over the lake.

“It has been a wonderful career where I had the opportunity to meet and work with so many amazing people,” Carol said.

Although no public party will be held, we encourage you to join us in sending Carol your congratulations and wishing her well.
