Remembering Sandy Braathen

It is with great sadness and deep regret, we announce the death of Sandy Braathen, professor of entrepreneurship and the Langemo Faculty Fellow in the Middleton School of Entrepreneurship & Management, who passed away over the holiday weekend, on Dec. 24.
To the staff and faculty of the Nistler College of Business & Public Administration and beyond, and to her many students over the years, Sandy was known as an engaged teacher who cared greatly about student learning. She was also known as an outstanding colleague who dedicated many hours of service to the University, her College and the Middleton School of Entrepreneurship & Management. Her positive disposition and concern for others made her a role model for others, and she will be greatly missed, said Amy Henley, dean of the Nistler College.
Memorial services will be starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, at Sharon Lutheran Church of Grand Forks. Her full obituary is available on the Amundson Funeral Home website.
