‘In Remembrance’ posts in University Letter 

In an effort to help keep the campus community informed, “In Remembrance” publishes notices about the deaths of faculty or staff who have retired from the University.

“In Remembrance” posts must be requested by a family member or representative of the family for the individual, or the UND department that the individual worked for (with the permission of the family or next-of-kin).

The “In Remembrance” post will link to the original obituary that has been posted by a funeral home, newspaper or other media outlet.

Please note that this policy does not affect the way in which the University announces the deaths of current students, staff and faculty. In such cases, it is expected that the respective department will contact the University Letter editor to help prepare a statement on behalf of UND.
