“Community shaped every moment at the University of North Dakota in 2025,” UND Marketing & Communications photographers write in their introduction to their annual Best Photos of the Year feature.

“As we welcomed the largest class in our history, campus came alive with connection, creativity, and new experiences. Our campus photographers love capturing the moments that matter most. From quiet, frost-covered mornings in the quad to the excitement of new spaces opening their doors (welcome back, Merrifield!), these photos reflect the everyday rhythm of life at UND in 2025.

“We can’t wait to see where 2026 takes us.”
