“The reason why I ever heard of UND was because of the esports program. In my freshman year to my sophomore year, we went from 30 people to 80 people. We’re different people from different areas, but being zoned into one particular interest that being gaming? And now you get to do that together for the next for years? That feeling itself is just an awesome, welcoming feeling.”

“Computer science is a very, very wide spread discipline. Every single day there is a new technological innovation. There’s this new AI, there’s this new app, there’s this new social media… I want to play a part. I want to take control, whether it be in cyber security, whether it be in software engineering, or even a federal, private or commercial domain; I want to set some sort of guidelines when it comes to these types of topics, and then to really assess that we can use technology for good and not to use it as a weapon or leverage against one another.”
