VIDEO: 3D Printing with Concrete
Editor’s Note: The following video is a part of a series documenting the impressive discoveries and innovations showcased at the 2026 Senior Design Expo. The series will extend from May through August, with a new video released every Wednesday, and can be watched on YouTube.
In this video, civil engineering student Reggie Azenkeng shows off some of the exploratory research on 3D concrete printing at the University of North Dakota. To address a supply chain issue with concrete culverts, the team is evaluating whether this new manufacturing method can compete with the traditional precast culvert method.
