The UND College of Engineering & Mines brought competitive robotics back to the Mall of America for the 2026 VEX Robotics University of North Dakota Signature Event.
Held Aug. 7-8, 2026, the two-day VEX Robotics competition brought student teams from around the world together for fast-paced matches, creative engineering, programming, strategy and teamwork — all in one of the nation’s most recognizable venues.
Hosted by the UND College of Engineering & Mines, the Signature Event gives students an opportunity to put their STEM skills into action while competing alongside talented robotics teams and connecting their interests in robotics, engineering, computer science, automation and technology with future educational and career opportunities.
