- Dr. Steve Cooper, and co-authors, had an article, Rural voices on the opioid epidemic in Deep East Texas, published in the Journal of Human Services: Training, Research, and Practice
- Dr. Jana Zwilling was invited to collaborate with colleagues from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), and the National Forum of Nursing Workforce Centers on an analysis of the most recent National Sample Survey of RN (NSSRN). The group focused on APRN data on burnout and intent to leave, post pandemic. - Dr. Danielle Villano, Dr. Brenna Swanson, and Dr. Nathaniel Johnson published a paper, Simulation-Based Training for Nutrition-Focused Physical Exams and Malnutrition Diagnosis for Rural Preceptors, in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Dr. Isaac Kariakri, and co-authors, had an article, Examining Missed Healthcare Appointments (No-Shows) in a Rural-Serving Federally Qualified Community Health Center in the United States, published in Social Work in Public Health.
