Talon Workshops in December

The UND CRC will present two in-person workshops for users of the Talon supercomputer. The workshops will be held at the Chester Fritz Library, 301 Learning Space, at 4:00pm.

There two workshops for beginning and intermediate users. The workshops for December are:

  • Dec 3. Welcome to Talon.
    • You have a Talon account. Now what? This course shows you how to connect to Talon, use the system for research or coursework, and be a good cluster citizen.
  • Dec 10. AI on Talon using Jupyter
    • The focus of this workshop is configuring your Jupyter environment for PyTorch or TensorFlow and training machine learning models on Talon.  

Requirements

These are hands-on workshops where participants will access Talon using their web browser. You must have a Talon account and a laptop with an updated web browser to participate. You can request an account if you do not already have one.
