Dave Krause, UND Procurement & Business Analyst, Obtains Highly Regarded CPPB Certification

It is with great pleasure that I announce that David Krause, Procurement & Business Analyst in the department of Procurement & Payment Services, has obtained his certification as a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) offered by The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC)

CPPB is a highly regarded certification, recognized worldwide, that requires education, training and employment experience as eligibility requirements that are validated via an application process, while knowledge, skills and abilities are validated by examination. Those individuals whose qualifications meet or exceed the established standards become certified and are issued this credential and are authorized to hold themselves out to the public as certified.

The goal of certification is to increase professionalism in the field of Public Procurement. It identifies standards for practice and recognizes those who meet the standard.
