MS3: VSAS, specialties, absences

VSAS: The Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS) is extending the current suspension of services until the week of May 11. During this time, Home and Host institutions and students will not have access to VSAS. Please visit the VSLO Program Coronavirus FAQs to learn more about the program changes that may affect you.

Specialties: And did you know there’s a website that contains suggested electives by medical specialty? These were identified by our department chairs as being those that will help prepare you for your future profession. For more information check out the Electives & Acting Internships website.

Fourth-Year planning: Also, the following website has much information to prepare for the coming year: Planning Fourth Year.

Absences: Finally, pages 9-10 of the excused absence policy are due within 14 calendar days of the absence. If you have not turned in your paperwork by May 22, 2020, you will receive a letter of unprofessionalism. The paperwork can be turned in to Summer Eggen.
