Class of 2027

MEDICAL STUDENT PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

As you complete your individual Phase 2 clerkships, keep in mind that the summative comments from your preceptors are used verbatim on your Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE). Be sure to review your evaluations in LEO. The formative comments cannot be used for the MSPE, only the summative comments. If there are any summative comments on your evaluations that are unclear or that you disagree with, you must contact the preceptor to have them officially changed in LEO. Other than punctuation or simple grammar changes, the comments cannot be changed without the preceptor’s permission. Please request any changes in a timely manner as it is easier to do when it’s fresh in the minds of the preceptors rather than months after the clerkship has ended.

The AAMC ERAS tokens for the 2027 Match were emailed on 7/2/25. You should have received an email to your official UND email address from AAMC. If you did not receive it and will be applying for the 2027 Match through ERAS, check your clutter or junk email.

Once you register your ERAS token with MyERAS, you will have the ability to request Letters of Recommendations (LoRs). LoRs can be uploaded to ERAS directly by the letter writers or their designee. This is especially important now as you make contacts during your Phase 2 clerkships. You will not be able to fill out your residency application until the ERAS 2027 application season opens in June 2027.

You will only have access to the following functions prior to the start of the ERAS 2027 application season:

  • Update the personal Information section
  • Add and confirm LoR information
  • Print Letter Request Form(s)
  • View the status of LoRs
