Remembering Glenn Christiansen

Glenn Christiansen, retired building services technician, died Sept. 3 at his home in East Grand Forks.  He was 67.

Glenn “Rabbit” Christiansen was born March 31, 1945, to Clarence and Olga (Jacobsen) Christiansen.  He graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1963.  He married Lauire Ford in Grand Forks on Dec. 28, 1963.

He worked at Bridgeman Creamery, Richmond Engineering, and at UND.  He retired in July 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie, East Grand Forks; children, Todd (Sally Freese) Christiansen, East Grand Forks, Ryan Christiansen and girlfriend Dianah of Sauk Rapids, Minn., Matt (Tania) Christiansen, East Grand Forks, and Stephanie Christiansen of Sauk Rapids; 10 grandchildren; sister, Marian Enright, East Grand Forks; sister-in-law, Alyce-Mae Christiansen, East Grand Forks; and brother-in-law, Jim Weber, Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Weber; and brother, Harvey Christiansen.
